| Updating for the hell of it

| Hey...updating for like the gazillionth time this
summer...riiiiiiiiiiiight. Anyways quick recap of this summer: Really
nothing has happened. It has been a pretty laid back kinda recovery
period that I think is good going into Jr year. I feel by just relaxing
and not having so much fun that I will hate going back to school I will
feel rested and relaxed but prepared to tackle the most important year
of my high school carrer. The only thing that I wish would happen would
be my license/car. My rents (esp my dad) are hesitent and although I
agree with him that my grades left somethig to be desired I still think
that I really need a car for this upcoming year. Keep in mind that I am
taking IB Theatre, and IB Music both of which meet after school hours.
Not only that but im takeing a after school SAT/PSAT prep course
offered by the school for free cause of performance on the PPSAT that
we took last year. My rents being the psychos that they r are FORCING
me to take this class when I already scored a 1340 on the old SAT. I
mean I understand that there is room for improvement but seriously...2
days a week for 3 hrs! Ugh basically it comes down to this. When my
rents let me get my license (which i hope is b4 october when the new
laws go into place) im not even sure there gonna let me get a car. I
already have to pay for it myself and prob the insurance but they might
not let me get it regardless. Much like the cell phone subject they
wont let me get a car even if i pay for it by myself. Apparently this
is NOT a free country till ur 18...hows that for a little loop hole in
the system. O well other than that for upcoming new (since I really
have nothin to say other than this has been the most relaxing, yet
uneventful, summer of my life) I have chosen not to try out for the
fall play at gc. Multiple reasons some of which being I want to focus
on school, dont know if I will enjoy myself (which is VERY important),
not wild about the play selection, and of course I dont like TB. (and
just to clarify, while im not terribly fond of tuberculosis that is not
what TB refers to in this instance.) OH! i seriously almost forgot. I
have THRILLED to say i got a 4 on the APUS exam! HORAY! Congrats to
everyone else who did well! I know u all deserve it. There was ALOT of
studyin goin on over that last week. hahaha. Any ways ill leave u with
my schedual for next yr. Tell me if u have ne classes with me!

| This is just an update to asure people that I am in fact still alive.
If I seem to be gone all this month it might have to do with the fact
that I got back from the beach on Sat and am going to NY for a week
this Sat. (btw...Lauryn smells like onion rings)

| K So summer is finally here! So far it has been AMAZING! First day after a certain crap-tacular religion exam we went to Fran's house and went swimming in our uniforms which was super. It was cool...and wet...especially the girls when they saw me (hahaha jk...?) Next day hung out with Erin, and Fri. went to work and then caught up with Kat since her return from Boston. It was fun, but she has an obsession for boys pants, because...she is cool like that? Today was pretty chill hangin out with Katie finally, and got like 2 1/2 hrs driving...But heres the killer. On sunday im goin to build houses in West Virginia, home of the...um...mountain...trees? I'm gone for a week and while im there i prob have to sit through a bunch of religious discussions about stuff...religious stuff.I can already see where this will lead: Them: lets talk about God and how he loves everyone and anyone...let's talk about sin! Me: Well once I found a five dollar bill on the street and didn't try to find the rightful owner. Them: Remember how we said that God loves everyone...well not you...your a sinner. Me: I think your a bigot. Them: Do you know any devoutly religious bible-thumpers who aren't? Me:...no....
OK let me clarify...I know not all religious ppl are bigots, but im going with a church group from west virginia, and im not the most conservative person in the world. Anyway I have met some of the ppl at the church and while my grandparents are not fire and brimstone lunatics im afraid I might encounter that. And as some may know Im not a very crazy person, and when I get mad I dont explode, but I know if someone there gets on my nerves enough Im bound to say somthin....lets just hope the ppl there are cool.(the weird deluge of self proclaimed saints around here has made me less than optimistic.) O well...Ill prob write back in this thing later...dont know how much later, but since its summer im sure ill have more to talk about. | | |
| WOW! The self righteous, hypocritical Christians are everywhere this weekend! ugh...there must be a conversion contest goin on or somthin, but seriously I have seen FIVE over the top bible thumpers arguing with complete strangers out in public this weekend...insane...This is the only way I can sum it up:
